  • Usability Testing

    Usability testing of products or documentation. Early version, lo-fi products or later version hi-fidelity versions are welcomed. Expect qualitative and descriptive statistics. Familiar with UserTesting.com. Content and design testing available.

  • Design Thinking

    Trained in the Design Thinking Framework (IDEO, NN/g). Deliver Design Thinking workshops to large corporations — can tailor to group size, business needs, remote or in person. This is a very collaborative, hands-on group exercise.

  • In-depth-Interviews

    Deep, qualitative method used typically at the beginning of projects to understand the problem space. We’ll meet first to understand your goals, assumptions, and discuss participant recruitment. Output will be in the form of personas, empathy maps, slides — we can discuss.

  • Contextual Inquiry

    We’ll use this method when we want to better understand how processes or tasks are being completed. I’ll watch end users complete their work (context) and learn from them (inquiry). Output is more qualitative than quantitative unless task/process times are important pieces of information.

  • Technical Writing

    I will utilize elements of Style, Grammar, and Information Design when developing your documentation. My focus is software and data documentation. I am interested in writing about AI.

  • Holistic Storyteller

    A through-line in all of my work is the ability to manage deadlines, communicate my progress and findings (storytelling). Beyond execution, I am considering how this work ties to business goals and will be impactful.
